Any tenant who fails to pay rent as provided by this section shall be liable for all reasonable expenses incurred by the landlord in moving the tenant in accordance with section 624.5 of the Rent Law, as amended.” If landlord pays the court costs and interest, the total of both fees and court costs shall be a lien on the tenant's personal property. Section 1924 of California Civil Code provides the legal grounds for eviction through the lien.
